19 November    Adam Chapman, Lecturer in Medieval History, and General Editor of the  Victoria County History at the  Institute of Historical Research, will talk about the Victoria County History which is a vast resource for all family historians. He will give examples from its work of particular interest to those researching the Society of Friends, its members and their lives.

17 December    Kelvin Beer-Jones, 'Quakers 1830-1870 who were led to relieve the plight of aborigines and who went on to help establish the discipline of anthropology in Britain'
